It's actually just the iPad in the line of iOS devices that still, until, does not have an official Facebook app. We can remember Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said during an event live from Facebook Live, that "the iPad isn't mobile". Of course, most of you should know that Facebook has a site that focuses or is built for touch input devices, Facebook touch. After being able to mingle with an iPad 2, apparently, what it lacks really is a Facebook App that's official.
According to the New York Times, Facebook is making an official Facebook app for the iPad, finally. The app is actually being tested for over a year now and Mark is closely involved in its development. So, it shouldn't be a surprise to you if soon enough news of the Facebook for iPad app will be available in the App Store and will get a lot of downloads, that's for sure.
Anyway, until then all we need to do is wait. It would just be unfair if Facebook wouldn't be releasing it since the tablet market is huge and is making a lot of noise recently and will continue to do so.
