The Verizon Thunderbolt 4G have now started to receive the software update that was always being pushed back. Oh well, according to the Big Red's support site, the update will start rolling out tomorrow (May 13th). But interestingly, DroidLife got a tip that the update for the smartphone is actually already available. You can check that out for yourself by heading to Settings > Software Update and then tap on "check new". If you have it then good, if not, then tomorrow might be the day you will be getting it.
The software update is expected to give your Thunderbolt 4G a better 3G connection (in areas where 4G is not available). Also, GPS functionality gets improved.
