USA: Verizon to release an update for the HTC Thunderbolt 4G by tomorrow

The US' largest network carrier have announced that they will be releasing an update for the HTC Thunderbolt 4G in May 3rd (tomorrow). The update is said to enhance and improve the phone's connectivity with the carrier's 3G network. Also the update will fix some email and SMS  bugs (proper storage of messages in the inbox).

"Verizon also said that, after the patch is applied, the Backup Assistant application will display properly in the applications menu. Other fixes include faster loading of GPS updates and stability improvements for Facebook, KAYAK, Yahoo! Mail, My Verizon, and others. Unfortunately, the update doesn’t appear to offer any improvements to the ThunderBolt’s notoriously bad battery life." - BGR
