Nokia intros Nokia Oro - beautified version of the C7

Nokia oh Nokia, where did this come from? Anyway, the Finnish phone maker have introduced the Nokia Oro, which is basically a decorated Nokia C7. If you like a phone with the glitz and glamore of it all, then I believe this will be shimmering in your eyes.

In terms of specs, the Nokia Oro has nothing special or new compared to the Nokia C7. I mean is there really a difference? The Oro sports the same 3.5" AMOLED display that the C7 has. It also features Symbian^3 in it, 3G, WiFi, and an 8MP rear facing camera (with 720p video recording).

The Oro is basically for those who can afford to buy a phone with luxury attached to it. Nokia have incorporated expensive and luxurious materials into the Oro with the likes of an 18-carat gold coating which is made to be scratch resistant. Other luxurious stuff on the phone are the premium Scottish leather, and the crystal sapphire home key.

The Nokia Oro will be available in European countries, Eastern Europe, China, and in the Middle East in the 3rd quarter of this year. "Before local taxes and operator subsidies (neither of which you’re likely to be too concerned about if you’re a customer for this device), it will cost upwards of € 800."

So who wants one?
