One of the most popular, if not the most popular, mobile browser in the world is back on the GetJar App Store. There's a story behind Opera and GetJar App Store. GetJar decided to take out Opera Mini from the App Store because of some conflict of interest since Opera made their own app store that can be accessed via their mobile browsers on Android, Symbian, BlackBerry, and Java-enabled devices. Hence, GetJar taking the browser out from it's app store.
But the announcement from GetJar ended like this: "In the meantime, we hope to resolve this solution with Opera in the future and want to thank you all for being such dedicated GetJar fans ;)" there has to be a solution, right? And the solution is putting Opera Mini back to the GetJar App Store.
GetJar have even posted a blog entitled "Soap Opera ends as the world’s best browser returns to GetJar".
Opera Mini 6 is now back at the GetJar App Store! For those who have not yet downloaded the "world's best" browser then head over to the GetJar App Store and download it from there!
