LG announces the LG Optimus Big - NOVA display

LG, on Friday, announced the LG Optimus Big, the smartphone we got to get a glimpse on beside an iPhone back in March. This is also LG's biggest smartphone to date with a 4.3" which sport's LG's latest screen technology, the NOVA display. The phone was announced in it's home turf in South Korea in the name of LG LU6800.

The phone will be launched in South Korea on April 28th over at LG U+ (Korea's third largest network carrier).

So far, I cannot find the full specs of the device so I will just be listing what we know about it below.

LG Optimus Big specs:

  • Android 2.2 Froyo
  • 1GHz dual-core processor (I am betting it's the nVidia Tegra 2)
  • 4.3" WVGA NOVA touch screen display
  • 5MP rear facing camera
    • AutoFocus
Regarding the device's release outside the Korean market, we still do not have news about it. But I believe LG will surely introduce this to the world and by then we should have the full detail specs of the device.
