BlackBerry Torch 2 gets handled

BGR is on a role here! After being able to play around with the BlackBerry Bold Touch they have now played with the next iteration to the BlackBerry Bold 9800 (Torch), the BlackBerry Torch 2. To kick things off with this device, BGR said that this is what the Torch 1 should have been. The Torch 2 is a very powerful BlackBerry device, compared to it's predecessor-to-be, this smartphone is given with all the amazing and powerful stuff inside it.

The Torch 2  might look very identical to the original Torch but don't let the looks deceive you. The Torch 2 gets a higher screen resolution at 640 x 480, a 1.2GHz (probably single-core) processor, and of course BlackBerry OS 6.1.

BGR, reported that the screen resolution looks "absolutely great" on the device. Well, it looks like BlackBerry have really made the real Torch. Also, they have said that the device is expected to be launched in July via AT&T. Until then, we do not have official word from the Canadian company making these stuff unofficial. Anyway, they will definitely be announcing this device anytime soon and when they do, expect me to report ASAP.

By the way, BGR also had the opportunity to get a hands-on on the BlackBerry Touch which is another device that is yet to be announced by RIM. I was not able to blog about it.
