Currently, there are 4 major network carriers in the US namely, Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T and of course Sprint. Recently, a report by Bloomberg have said that Sprint is currently in talks with Deutsche Telekom over the acquisition of it's US business, T-Mobile USA.
If the merger will eventually happen it is said that Deutsche Telekom will gain a 50% stake over Sprint Nextel Corp. If the merger succeeds, what will happen to both network carriers?
Sprint have declined to comment about the report, maybe because it's true. Well, the future holds the answer. I will be posting if anything comes up regarding these two carriers.
