WSJ reports that the iPad 2's production have started

According to a report by the Wall Street Journal, the Cupertino-based company have started production the next iteration of the iPad. "People familiar with the matter" have said that the iPad 2 will at least have one camera with a faster processor. The device will stay in line with the form of the current iPad but will be thinner and lighter. Other things that WSJ reported is that the tablet will also have more memory than it's predecessor and with regards with its display, the screen resolution will be the same as the current iPad.

"The Wall Street Journal said that Apple had problems with improving the resolution of the screen because the iPad's display is much larger than that of the iPhone's. They also stated that both AT&T and Verizon will support the 3G model of the iPad 2 at release." - Neowin
With regards to pricing, the iPad 2 is expected to cost the same as the current iPad.

Apple, as expected, declined to comment on WSJ's report.
