Dell Venue now available with T-Mobile and AT&T versions



The Dell Venue is the Android and the non-QWERTY version of the Venue Pro. Announced in the US during CES 2011, the Dell Venue is now available via AT&T and T-Mobile. Dell.com is offering, for today, the said device unlocked for $499.99 with the network of your choice. Head after the break to check out the specs of the Dell Venue.



Dell Venue specs:

  • Android 2.2 Froyo
  • Dell Stage UI
  • 4.1" (800 x 480) AM-OLED touch screen display
  • 512 MB of RAM
  • 1 GB internal memory
  • up to 32 GB of external storage via a microSD card slot
  • Bluetooth 2.1
  • WiFi
  • A-GPS
  • 8 MP rear facing camera
Since the device will be offered by both AT&T and T-Mobile there will be two kinds of this device, the same specs but with different radios for each network.

T-Mobile version:
  • 2G (GSM/GPRS/EDGE)
  • 3G support (WCDMA) 900/1700/2100 (1700 is also known as AWS band)
  • 1700 MHz bands required by T-Mobile in the US
AT&T version:
  • 2G (GSM/GPRS/EDGE)
  • 3G support (WCDMA) 850/1900/2100
  • 850/1900 MHz bands required by AT&T 

As for the pricing it is available at Dell.com for $499.99 (without contract) or you can also get the handset over at T-Mobile or AT&T stores.
