The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play gets previews again by Endgadet. This time we got some specs of the device and it seems they just confirmed the rumors that was reported a few months back. The phone is expected to be unveiled during MWC 2011 with some other Xperia phones to go with.
Here are some of the confirmed specs of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play.
- Android 2.3 Gingerbread
- 4 inch 854 x 480 touchscreen display
- Customizable Sony Ericsson homescreen
- “better build quality than the PSP Go”
- Sliding gamepad with touchpads instead of DualShock mechanical sticks
- Single-core, 1GHz Qualcomm processor
- 5MP camera, which takes rather impressive photos
- 800 x 480 video recording (could be upgraded to HD recording before the handset is launched)
By the time this phone gets official I hope that the single core processore turns into a dual-core. This is not the final product too so we should expect a bit of changes in the feature and whatnots of the device.
