Then here it comes before the HP Slate 500 had the chance to be officially launched. A tipster informed Endgadget they HP Palm is currently developing a WebOS powered tablet to be called "Topaz" and "Opal". We do not have much information about the tablets but what we know from the information sent to the blog site is that the Topaz will be a 10" tablet while the Opal will be a 7" tablet.
Endgadget was also told that the two tablets will be powered by a 1.2 GHz processor of an unnamed manufacturer. June is the month that the tablet is set to arrive at HP Palm's HQ and will be launched "later this year".
So, when will this tablet and the HP Slate 500 get launched? Well HP have invited people to join their "exciting" WebOS announcement this coming Feb 9th. So which of the two tablet will be unveiled or launched maybe? Oh well, we'll just have to wait.
