Samsung announces the Samsung Star 2

The first Samsung Star, if my memory serves me right, was the handset that sold more than 30 million units world wide. Making it one of the most popular smartphones to date, if not the most popular. My memory really did served me right.
"The phone will take helm from the 30 million seller Star phone and will be available from February in Germany followed by other European countries, CIS, South America, India and Middle East." - Samsung Hub

The Samsung Star II is 12.4 mm thick which features a 3" WQVGA touch screen display. The phone, like it's predecessor will be running on Samsung's stock OS (not really sure if it runs on Bada, I guess it is not) with TouchWiz UI 3.0, a 3.2 MP camera, Bluetooth, a 1000 mAh battery, QuickType T9 Trace keyboard, a 3.5 mm headset jack, MicroSD card slot, and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
