Apple releases Mac OS X 10.6.6 and officially opens App Store

Which of the two have you been waiting for? The Mac OS X 10.6.6 or the Apple App Store which will be Apple's desktop application store? Either way all of those who are currently running on the MAc OS X Snow Leopard version will now be able to update to the latest version of the OS (10.6.6).

Along with that update, the Apple App Store with more than 1,000 apps now available, will be added into your Macs.

To update your Macs, or to get the updates, assuming it is not set to automatically update then just head on over to the Apple Software Updater (photo) and enjoy the benefits of the Mac OS X 10.6.6 and the Apple App Store.

You might be wondering why there has been no other Apple news that is coming from the CES 2011. Well, unfortunately, Apple is not in the event that is why.
