Microsoft did try to buy Facebook for $15 Billion but what did Mark say?

You think Mark Zuckerberg was foolish when he turned down Yahoo's offer of buying Facebook for $1 Billion? Do you think that Facebook is really worth something? Well, it was not only Yahoo that gave an offer to buy the world's largest social networking site after all.

The information was revealed during the Le Web conference in Paris on "How to get acquired". The Telegraph reported that indeed Microsoft offered to buy Facebook for $15 Billion. Steve Ballmer, CEO Microsoft, approached Mark Zuckerberg, CEO Facebook, and offered him the said amount to acquire Facebook but what Mark said in response to Steve was "Why don’t we just buy you for $15 billion?”

Apparently the offer was rejected and instead Microsoft invested on Facebook worth $240 Million which resulted in the social network's Bing search integration that we have today.

So, after all this, what do you think is the sweet spot for Mark? How much does other companies need to offer him for him to let the social networking giant to be acquired?
