The second "pure Google phone" to be announced have started taking pre-orders in the UK over at Carphone Warehouse. Announced a few days ago that the smartphone will be made available in the UK with the said store. We also have received reports that the phone will cost £549 and this is confirmed by Carphone Warehouse with them offering the handset for £549.99 unlocked. The Nexus S will also come tied up with network carrier contracts at £35 per month "on all operators".
"If you’d rather have cheaper monthly plans, you can go for a £20/month plan, in which case the phone will cost you between £219.99 and £249.99." - Unwired View
When you pre-order the handset it will then be shipped "before the end of December". Take note that Google said that the Nexus S will be available in the UK "after December 20". It seems everything is going according to plan, lets hope there will be no shortages though.
