The Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 was not included in the Xperia line of smartphones to be updated to Android 2.1 Eclair when SE announced that the software update will start rolling out. That does not mean anyhow that the phone won't get any Android 2.1 Eclair love, in fact today Sony Ericsson announced that the Xperia X8 Android 2.1 update has started rolling out.
Like any other software updates the X8's will be gradually be available to each X8 phones. The updates will come, apparently, on different dates depending on the country you are in, and the kind of "kit" your X8 has. Hit on the source link below for further infos.
