Firefox 4 Beta for mobile is "faster and sleeker"

I'm note sure if this is Firefox 4 Beta 2, Firefox never mentioned that this is the Beta 2 release of their Firefox 4 for mobile browser. Anyway, they said that this release is the next, so I think, this is the Firefox 4 Beta 2, which basically means that it's suppose to succeed over Firefox 4 Beta 1 for mobile.

As you might already know the Firefox 4 for mobile is only available for Android and the Maemo powered devices.

This release is much lighter in terms of storage usage, the first Firefox 4 Beta used 43MB of your device's storage for this mobile browser to be installed, while this release only uses 17MB which is a huge difference. They also added a note which says: "Due to some technical limitations on Android, upgrading won’t remove some of the old files that are no longer needed. Therefore, you must uninstall the previous beta before you will see the size improvements."

This release also gives a refreshed look of the browsers UI, an easier way to share links, and the capability for you to undo closed tabs. The latest version is also faster which makes panning and zooming a lot smoother  and loading a page is faster from the previous beta version.
"On Android 2.2, we’re now around 25% faster on the SunSpider Javascript benchmark than the stock browser."
So if your an Android user or a Maemo user, you can download the latest version of the Firefox 4 Beta by clicking here. Tell us what you think of the update by commenting below, I will appreciate that.
