Well, HTC have posted on their UK Facebook page that the Gingerbread update will not be coming to the HTC Desire since the phone cannot provide "enough memory" for Gingerbread and HTC Sense being in the device. That made a lot Desire users react and have flooded the comments section. HTC listened and look at what they are saying now: "Contrary to what we said earlier, we are going to bring Gingerbread to HTC Desire". Some of the comments in the first post says that it'd be alright if Sense will not come with the update and some are saying that Gingerbread needs to be coming to the phone since the Desire was one of HTC's high-end handsets. Well, whatever this update will bring, at least HTC will bring it and HTC Desire owners should just be happy about it.
