Sony Ericsson shows off video of Xperia X10 on Android 2.1 Eclair

As promised, a promise that kept on being posponed, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will be getting it's Android 2.1 upgrade sometime next month. One clue that Sony Ericsson is sticking with this plan and schedule, is a video that shows what are some of the expected things on the X10 when it's upgraded to Android 2.1 Eclair.

Sony Ericsson gives it's Xperia X10 users a glimpse on what to expect once Android 2.1 Eclair is booted into their smartphones. A few of the new things you should be expect is the unlocking of the 720p HD video recording that the Xperia X10 can essentially do with it's 8.1MP camera. Five homescreens are also part of the upgrade, a better UI (for me) - Timescape, and some other features added. Watch the video and learn more on what you are getting with the update. All Xperia X10 users would jump with happiness if this is not the news that came out but the news that Sony Ericsson has finally rolled out the Android 2.1 update. Anyway, they said it, that it's gonna come sometime next month. A bit more waiting Xperia users.
