The Samsung Transform falls prey to Endgadget's talons. Endgadget just posted their full review on the Samsung Transform. Its a mid-range Android device, but 3/10 isn't a good number for it to expect good sales.
Looks like a Samsung Epic 4G, runs on Android 2.1 Eclair, but Sprint promised that it'll get an Android 2.2 Froyo update later this year. It has a 3.5 inch HVGA touch screen display and includes, an 800MHz processor, 256MB RAM, 512 ROM, front-facing camera (VGA), a rear facing 3.2 MP camera, WiFi, and GPS. Oh, as you can see it has a slide out full QWERTY keyboard. The tag price, $149.99 on contract after a $100 mail-in rebate. It does not support hardware accelerations as compared to other high-end Android devices, but since this is positioned on the mid-range devices, is it OK if it did not have hardware acceleration?
Base on the specs and comparing it to other mid-range or other Android devices you can get if you just add a bit of a few bucks, is it worth the $149.99 price?
