Microsoft Windows Phone 7, after all that

Yup, its him, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, presenting the world 9 Windows Phone 7 devices but there are actually 11 WP7 devices launched during that time. It was a success, I should say. After all the waiting and all the leaks, rumors, and what not about the devices and now the latest entrant to the mobile OS industry, its the day and it's now here on Earth, the Windows Phone 7.

RIM still holds the largest market share in the Mobile Operating System market and iOS is second holding on to the spot. What's interesting is Android's steady rise and it ain't stopping.

In terms of what OS gets bought by more people (at least in the US) it's Android the rules and it did not just come from nowhere but Android started from down there and ended up being on top with RIM and the iOS claiming the second spot. Now the question, where will the Windows Phone 7 position itself?

The latest version of Microsoft's WinMo OS (WP7) is still very young and we can never say how it will do in the future. But Microsoft really put work into this OS. If I were to describe the OS in one word? It would be BRILLIANT. With the WP7's sleek, straight-to-the-point, simple, professional, and amazing UI and not to mention how the OS transition motion, or what ever they call it, is breath taking. It truly gives you a new experience in mobile computing. This isn't the end though, HP is set to launch their latest WebOS too. By 2011 we will all live in a very different world, not only will our preferences in buying a phone be affected by the design, but the brand, specs, OS, apps, and whatever other things you can thing of, is included in our choice. I hope Windows Phone 7 won't disappoint its users. I hope it'll be seen as a competitor not just another mobile OS.
