Eleven smartphones were unveiled and introduced to the public during Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 event. 3 of them are going to AT&T. Samsung, HTC, and LG have one phone each for AT&T, the HTC Surround, Samsung Focus, and the LG Quantum. The three phones will all pack a 1GHz processor & AT&T U-verse Mobile app which allows “users download and watch hit shows on their smartphone.”
The Samsung Focus, which was referred before as the Samsung Cetus will be available over at AT&T on November 8. The Focus, is a 9.9 mm inch thin smartphone 4 inch touch screen display featuring Samsung's Super AMOLED technology. The device will be for $199.99 on contract.
The HTC Surround is the first phone in the world to be integrated with Dolby Mobile and SRS surround technologies. The smartphone is media oriented with the very noticeable slide out speakers which are made by Yamaha. The media inclined smartphone will have a 16GB built in memory for your media goodness. It will be available over at AT&T "in tim for the holidays" for $199.99 on contract.
The LG Quantum, the not so pretty smartphone from LG will also be coming to AT&T "in time for the holidays". This smartphone offers a slide out full QWERTY keyboard and DLNA technology. It will also be tagged at $199.99 on contract.
