Unveiled back in August, the Nokia X3-02 makes its way to the Philippines. It's Nokia's first touch and type phone running on Symbian S40. Since it's a touchscreen phone, it does not features Nokia's famous navigation key at the center. It's screen (QVGA) is 2.4 inches large and is thin, 9mm thin on the phone's thickest part. It has a 3.5mm headset jack, a 3.5MP camera with video recording, microSD card slot (16GB), Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, FM radio, brushed aluminum cover, and Facebook and Twitter integration.
As reported, Nokia ties up with Globe Telecom to offer the Nokia X3 Touch and Type phone for free starting at a Php 999 ($23) plan or is retailed at Php 8,560 ($199) with 5 days of free SuperSurf from Globe.
The other phone that Nokia launched is the Nokia C3-01, the second touch and type phone from Nokia. Features the most used mobile UI (user inteerface) in the world, the alphanumeric keypad, and also features a full touch screen display, apparently. Like the X3-02 this phone runs on Symbian S40.
