T-Mobile HTC Desire owners Android 2.2 update for your phone is here!

HTC Desire owners who are with T-Mobile your turn to get that Android 2.1 out of your phone and let Android 2.2 take over.
How to update? Settings > About Phone > System Software Updates > And tap on Check Now. Install and enjoy Android 2.2, of course after it successfully installs.

Since you can do that T-Mobile is apparently doing an OTA update. OTA meaning Over-The-Air update. So go ahead guys update your HTC Desires to get the full advantage of the Android 2.2 features.

Just a heads up, it's a 90.93MB update so my source suggests that you do it over WiFi so that you would not have too much waiting and just a precautionary suggestion, plug your phone (Charge it) while you update, so that it won't turn off in the middle of the process, updating system softwares is a delicate process, you might end up with a very expensive, touch screen paper weight.

You might ask, why should I bother in updating my OS when everything is working fine. Well, here's the added benefits of having a Android 2.2. Its faster, faster than the 2.1, and it has this feature that makes your phone a WiFi spot. Plus better HTML 5 support.
