Dell Studio XPS 15 and 17

When you are talking about Dell and which line of laptops is equipped with more power then I should say its the Studio line. Dell is also reported to release two new Stuido laptops the Dell Studio XPS 15 and 17 both of which are intended to replace the XPS 13 and 16.


The Dell Studio XPS 15, based on the name will be a 15inch notebook and the Dell Studio XPS 17 will be a 17inch notebook. Both will be equipped with an Intel Core i7 processor.

The difference lies in the innards of the notebook. The XPS 17 can support up to 16GB of RAM and an HDD of 1.2TB of storage memory. A JBL speaker system and the graphics chip is by nVidia with a dedicated memory of 3GB with HDMI 1.4 output, USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet network adapter and WiFi.

The Dell Studio XPS 15 supports up to 8GB of RAM and a hard disk maximum capacity of 750GB. The video card is NVIDIA's and is equipped with 2 GB of dedicated memory.

No word is gathered when the devices will be released by Dell and the price, but based on my source's report it will start to be distributed on October in Europe.
