Dell Inspiron M501R and M5030 with AMD Quad Core

Dell has released two Inspiron notebooks the M501R and the M5030. Both have almost the same specifications but they wouldn't be of different model numbers if they are basically the same right? Of course, there are differences, aside from the prices.


The Dell Inspiron M501R is a sleek notebook which is a 15.6 inch laptop. The screen has a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixel backed up by an AMD Mobility Radeon HD550v graphics chip with 1GB of dedicated memory. The standard RAM for the M501R is 4GB but is expandable to 8GB. HDD, is a choice between 320GB and a 500GB storage. The all important processing power is powered by an N930 AMD Phenom X4 Quad Core II which promises to give you computing experience like no other.



And the Dell Inspiron M5030 is lso a 15.6 inch notebook but is actually lighter than the M501R. The M5030 is equipped with an AMD Mobility Radeon HD4250 graphics chip with a 320GB HDD and its processor is a triple-core processor Athlon II P320.

Both run on Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit, DVD burner, SRS Premium Sound audio system, video output HDMI,eSATA, multiformat card reader and several USB 2.0 ports. And for the tag price for the basic configuration is at $750.
