Will Nokia create a device running on Windows Phone 7?

An interesting prospect isn't it? A Nokia smartphone running on Windows Phone 7. If Nokia won't join in the Android party, then why not join the WP7 party?

"VentureBeat claims to have heard from a "trusted source" that Nokia is "now likely" to develop for Windows Phone 7, which wouldn't be all that surprising considering their new CEO Stephen Elop has come straight from Microsoft—albeit, from their Office division." - Gizmodo
If this is gonna happen, then welcome back Nokia! I have said on my other posts that Nokia, should do away with Symbian, and with the news that Nokia will be scrapping out Symbian and will be using MeeGo as their OS it wouldn't really put them back where they were before.

So since Nokia ain't going with Android, then I think with Windows Phone 7, they will be right back up there. What also needs to be done is their market positioning in the US. They really need to do something about it. I will be watching over this rumor and will keep you all updated with its developments.
