Skype for Windows Phone now available - goes out of beta

Skype for Windows Phone is now out from beta which means, everybody who does not want anything beta, can now download the application into their Windows Phone device. Back in March, Skype released the beta version of the application and is now out of that phase and can now be downloaded as a stable application from the Windows Phone Marketplace. Basically, this is a way more polished version of the beta (of course) based on feedback from those beta users. One thing yo should be able to notice with his launching is  portrait mode (while in a video call) and friend management features.

Skype for Windows Phone Beta is finally available for download! Most if not all of you who owns a Windows Phone smartphone must have been waiting for this for a long time now. When Microsoft acquired Skype, I thought they'd immediately launch an app for those who use Skype but apparently it took them a while to do so. Nevertheless, the Skype for Windows Phone Beta app is cool! Just like how cool the entire UI of the platform is.  You can now get the application directly from the Windows Phone Marketplace and start using the amazing application. Angry Birds now available to Windows Phone

Finally, Rovio's popular mobile game, Angry Birds, is now available for the Windows Phone platform. The game is currently available with a tag price of $2.99 and a free trial is also available if you want to try out the game before you buy it. Head over to the marketplace now and download the game and fire those birds away!

Windows Marketplace hits 9,000 apps and is steadily growing

How young is Windows Phone 7? Very young right? Although the the mobile platform did not perform, in terms of sales and popularity, as the Redmond company though it would be, still the platform is evidently growing. Windows Marketplace is where you can find all of the available apps for your Windows Phone 7 device and now it registers 9,000 apps available for you to download.
