USA: T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy S II officially gets Android 4.0 ICS

T-Mobile USA has already started pushing the Android 4.0 ICS update to the Samsung Galaxy S II since June 14! Yeah, this is a bit late but I know you'll take it. The update bears a version number of T989UVLE1. So if you get that update expect your SGS II to be running on Ice Cream Sandwich when it installs it. The update is not via OTA but is via Samsung Kies. With that, you need to have the latest version of Samsung Kies installed on your laptop or desktop and then you can hook up your smartphone into it and check for updates.

USA: T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy S II in white is now available for $229.99

The white version of T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy S II is now available for, according to Unwired View, $229.99. If you head over to T-Mobile's website right now, it seems they are giving the SGS II for only $99.99 and that comes with a web-only discount which I believe is for a limited time only. This device shares the same specs as it's original black brother so its just the color that differ between the two.

USA: T-Mobile to offer the Samsung Galaxy S II in white

Just to add more fun in the already happy Samsung Galaxy S II family in the US market, T-Mobile USA has announced that their own SGS II will be available in white before the Holidays. According to TmoNews, the carrier did not mention in their "short" press release how much this white SGS II will be offered. Personally, I guess this will cost exactly how much the original black colored T-Mobile Galaxy S II is.

USA: T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy S II will sport a 1.5GHz dual-core processor?

This will be a very short blog post but will mean a lot to US consumers. We already know that T-Mobile will be offering their version of the Galaxy S II and on those blog posts I have indicated that the smartphone will be powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. Contrary to that, a Tweet by the Galaxy Support team revealed something that would make your jaws drop.

USA: T-Mobile USA's Samsung Galaxy S II arrives at Samsung's website

T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy S II now has a spot on Samsung's website! When the Korean giant announced AT&T's, Sprint's, and T-Mobile's SGS IIs, T-Mobile's was the only device that did not have a dedicated spot on their US website, until today. Sprint's Epic 4G Touch and T-Mobile's SGS II variants will both sport a larger 4.52" Super AMOLED Plus display, compared to AT&T's a bit smaller 4.3-inch display on their SGS II.

USA: T-Mobile's Samsung Galaxy S II announced

For T-Mobile's version of the Galaxy S II, it will not be much different from that of AT&T's although it carries a bit of difference when it comes to design. Little is know about this device, even after it has been unveiled, but it is basically just the Galaxy S II with the same specs as AT&T's SGS II. Also like AT&T's SGS II, this will be running on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread out of the box. Something though is interesting with this version of the SGS II, head over the break to check what that is.
