HTC HD7S starts receiving the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango update

The Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) update of the AT&T HTC HD7S has started rolling out to users! In all fairness to Microsoft, their update process has been running smoothly with almost all existing Windows Phone 7 handsets now receiving the latest iteration of the platform. And to add another device in their receiving list is AT&T's HD7S. You can manually check if your HD7S has the update ready to be installed. USA: HTC HD7S coming to AT&T in June 5th for $199.99

The HTC HD7S was unveiled and announced by AT&T during CTIA 2011. The device is basically the HTC HD7 but with AT&T branding on it.  I don't really know if there is a remarkable difference between T-Mobile USA's HD7 and AT&T HD7S. But why would they compete? If one wants to swallow the other? Anyway, AT&T have announced that the phone will be available starting June 5th for $199.99 with a 2-year contract. The announcement, by the way, was made by AT&T on their Facebook page.

AT&T announces LG Thrill 4G and HTC HD7S at CTIA 2011

Ok, the news about AT&T step in acquiring T-Mobile USA as announced recently, will definitely not cover their announcement of new handsets during the CTIA 2011 in Orlando, Florida. The company have announced two big handsets during the event namely, the LG Thrill 4G and the HTC HD7S.
