Lenovo ThinkPad X120e now selling


This is the Lenovo ThinkPad X120e the netbook from the Chinese company that pack's AMD's latest chips. Well, it's currently now for sale for $399.99. The laptop features the AMD Zacate chipset, you know, APU (Accelerated Processing Unit). The base model which packs a 1.5GHz AMD Dual-Core E-240 processor is priced for $399 and a 3-cell battery. If you want more power get the 1.6GHz AMD Dual-Core E-350 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 6 cell battery priced for $569. The ultraportable by the way features an 11.6" display. Toshiba puts an AMD Fusion chip in a bigger laptop - Toshiba C655D



Here on my blog there are, so far, two computers that have the AMD Fusion chip inside them. Both of them are netbooks, small laptops like the HP Pavilion dm1 and the Lenovo ThinkPad X120e. Toshiba does it in a different kind of fashion by putting the new AMD Fusion chip into a bigger laptop rather than in a netbook.


HP announced their new Pavilion Desktop line with AMD Fusion chips


HP announced their new revamped Pavilion Desktops now with AMD's newest processors, APUs actually. Their in-the-budget desktop line, the Pavilion Desktop line are all going to get some AMD Fusion love. The HP Pavilion P6700, S5700, and the HPE-500. These models, since they are budget friendly desktops, will give you a wide range of options on what stuff you want inside them. Head over the break to check out what these options are.


HP introduces their AMD Fusion infused netbook HP dm1


HP, like the Lenovo X120e, introduced their netbook equipped with AMD's newest APU, AMD Fusion. The HP Pavilion dm1 -3020us will be HP's first laptop to pack the said APU (Accelerated Processing Unit), which means it is a CPU and a GPU all in one chip allowing your computer to work longer on batteries since it is said to increase battery life by 30% and give netbooks the well deserved GPU power in them.

Lenovo outs it's latest entry ultraportable the Lenovo ThinkPad X120e with AMD Fusion APU


The Lenovo ThinkPad X120e is Lenovo's take of AMD's newest most talked about chip which is basically termed as a APU (Accelerated Processing Unit) that house not only a CPU (processor) but also the GPU (Graphics Processing Unit). The AMD Fusion E-series is the name given to those amazing chips and one of them is inside the ThinkPad X120e.
