Twitter has updated the Twitter for BlackBerry app and is now available for download. The update brings in tons of new features to the application like the ability to to view Tweets in details view, summaries of articles shared from websites like CNN and NatGeo, and see contacts from your Device Address Book. Twitter also noted that "soon" the Twitter for BlackBerry app will get a new way of expanding Tweets with photos which, as promised, should give you a faster and smoother experience. I hope that RIM did something about their transition from the old BB OS to the new BlackBerry 10 OS. The Canadian-company have already started accepting app submission and by that it makes me believe that BB 10 is a whole new platform. If it gets officially into the market, what happens to older BB OS apps? Anyway, for now, just enjoy the new Twitter for BlackBerry. I am sure this update is also available from the BlackBerry App World.
