Asus Windows 8 line-up: Asus Taichi

Asus has finally unveiled and announced their Windows 8 (or you can also say it as their 2012) line up of devices. We will start with this amazingly cool concept which they have announced back in July but did not really come into reality until now. Dubbed as the Asus Taichi this is the ultimate definition of a notebook/tablet hybrid. It sports 2 HD displays so you can easily switch from one mode to the other (which has 4 modes all in all). Of course, since this notebook runs on Windows 8 both display are touchscreen displays but is twice awesome.

The Asus Taichi has 4 modes that the user can easily switch to and from. It has the Notebook Mode which apparently means that the inside display is turned on, it also has the Tablet Mode, and this is activated by simply closing the lid on your Taichi and the outside display turns on. It also has the Mirror mode, great for sharing because whatever is displayed in the inside display is also being displayed in the outside display. Finally, the Dual-Screen mode which makes the Taichi a two computer device. That means that both the inside and outside screens can work independently from each other and two persons can use it simultaneously. It would probably hamper the device's performance but being able to do that is astonishing.
