Google has released an update to the Chrome for Android Beta browser which bumps up the mobile browser's version up to 0.16.4301.233. That version number is the equivalent of Chrome 16.0.912.77 for desktops. The update primarily brings in security fixes and it fixes a compatibility issue that prevents the browser from starting up when running on Android 4.0 ICS. You can update your Chrome for Android Beta browser from you Android Market app (or the Google Play app) or by heading over to the Google Play website and downloading it directly from there.
