Google Chrome 17 now available for download

Google Chrome 17 is now released! You might think or expect something major with this release since this update or release will put your Chromes from 16 to 17 but actually it's really not that major. The things that Google have changed with this update are things that can't be seen by just looking at the browser. Yup! The changes are inside Chrome like a new Extensions API, an Updated Omnibox Prerendering, Download Scanning Protection (this is needed), and according to Google "many other small changes".

For those who have Google Chromes in their desktops and laptops, update your browsers now by clicking through Settings > About Google Chrome > Wait for the update to be downloaded and to be installed. You can also download Chrome 17.0.963.46 from the official download page. This version of the browser is available for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Chrome Frame.

Google has also released Google Chrome for Android today, so you might want to check it out.
