PHIL: HTC Explorer and Radar launched in the Philippines

HTC in the Philippines have launched three new smartphones to end the year with a big bang in the Philippine market. I have already posted about the HTC Rhyme launched in the country priced at Php 25,000. HTC actually launched two other smartphones during that same time when the Rhyme was launched, they are the HTC Explorer and the HTC Radar.

The HTC Explorer is touted to be HTC's most affordable Android smartphone to ever come out from their factory. The handset, in the Philippines, is priced at Php 11,900. With that price, you'd be getting a smartphone that runs on Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread and sports a 3.2" display, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, a 600MHz processor, 384MB of RAM, and 90MB of internal storage with microSD card support for an extra 32GB of storage, and a 3.15MP rear facing camera.

This is the HTC Radar, the only Windows Phone device that was launched during that event. The bigger HTC Titan, should probably be launched in the country too, but I don't know when, maybe in 2012? Anyway, the Radar is priced at Php 21,500. The HTC Radar runs on the latest available version of the platform which is Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. It sports a 3.8" display, a 1GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a 5MP rear facing camera, a VGA front, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and DLNA.
