RockMelt has updated their desktop browser to version 0.9.68.1374. This version brings in Chromium 14 which brings the browser at par with the current Chromium version that Google Chrome has. But RockMelt, as we all know, is not just your ordinary browser. Its a browser filled with other stuff and social network integration that no other browser has.
But what are the new features that are included into this version of RockMelt? Here they are...
A new sharing window comes with a new RockMelt. This new window allows you to share statuses, links, and/or any web content to your Facebook and Twitter accounts. In addition to that, it also allows you to posts to walls and/or mentions to people you follow on Twitter.
- Post to multiple friends’ walls on Facebook
- Send multiple Facebook messages
- Update your own Facebook status
- Share to multiple Twitter accounts
- Share to Facebook groups
It is now easier to install apps on RockMelt. It does this by suggesting to you apps whenever you visit a website. All you then have to do is click on them and it will then be on the edge of your RockMelt.
RockMelt also gives you more real estate to browse content on the web by reducing the edges and the navigation bar.
For those who are already using RockMelt update your browsers by clicking on the RockMelt Button > About RockMelt > and the newest version of the browser should download and install it you just need to relaunch the browser after the installation is done.
