Asus Transformer Prime will be a quad-core Android tablet - unveiled by Asus CEO himself

Asus, that Taiwan-base computer company who spitted out one of the best selling Android tablet ever, the Asus Eee Pad Transformer, has released a teaser video of the successor to the original Transformer. So, what is the name of the successor of the Transformer? It is called the Asus Transformer Prime. But anyway, base on the video that Asus released, it looks like they are bringing the "Zen" of it all from their Ultrabook to their tablets (see photo above).

Since the tablet is already teased to us we don't need to wait for the confirmation of the device, if it is existing or not. To give everyone a bit of a fast forward, Asus CEO, Jonney Shih, have already unveiled the device at the AsiaD. He confirmed that the Transformer will be sporting a quad-core processor, a 10" display, a battery pack that will last you 14.5 hours on a single charge, and a microSD card slot.

It is still unclear, though, what version of Android will the Transformer Prime will be running. Hopefully, Asus will port Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to it. But if it will be the Honeycomb, Asus will undoubtedly bring an upgrade of it to bring it up to Android 4.0.

So, what to do now? We wait, when the tablet will be formally announced. By that time, the tablet will, hopefully, have a launch date and pricing details.
