Apple's iPhone 4S can now be pre-ordered in 22 more countries - Philippine pricing estimated

The most amazing iPhone from Apple ever, the iPhone 4S, is now available for pre-order in 22 additional countries. Of course, the pricing varies on each country so better check it out in your local Apple Store for the pricing. Anyway, the iPhone 4S can already be pre-ordered in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

In Australia here are the pricing. (I know Australia is not part of the list since it was one of the first few countries to get the iPhone 4S when it was launched)

In Singapore...

For my Philippine audience, this means that if we convert the iPhone 4S' price directly from these two prices it would mean that when the smartphone will land in the Philippines, it will cost

converted from AUS$799 -> Php 35,863.03
converted from SGD$948 -> Php 32,303.56

I have been hearing and have been told that the iPhone 4S' price in the Philippines would go up to Php 50,000. I always though, that is impossible. Apple's tradition in pricing has always been the same. A new device, when launched, will always get the price of the device it succeeds so it would be impossible, base on Apple's pricing, to expect a Php 50,000 price tag in the Philippine market. So, it is now safe to say that the 16GB iPhone 4S will be priced in the Philippines somewhere between 32,000-35,000.

To continue the pricing (base on Singapore pricing)...

iPhone 4S 16GB: Php 32,303.56
iPhone 4S 32GB: Php 37,087.16
iPhone 4S 64GB: Php 42,200.28

There it is. It is almost exactly how the iPhone 4 was priced in the Philippines when that smartphone was launched.
