Nokia to release a software update to Symbian Belle which brings in Microsoft Apps


By now, its a sin not to know that Microsoft and Nokia have shook and agreed about something with regards to Nokia's use of Microsoft's Windows Phone ecosystem. Recently, Nokia announced that soon, they will be releasing a software update to Symbian Belle. The update would bring in Microsoft Apps (Microsoft productivity applications). This suite will include Microsoft OneNote, Microsoft Lync 2010 mobile, Microsoft Document Connection, and Microsoft PowerPoint Broadcast. 





The update will be rolled out to the Nokia 700, 701, and 600 in Q4 of 2011. By 2012, Nokia is also expecting to release another update which will bring in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as native applications inside Symbian. 

The update with the Microsoft Apps, will also be rolled out to Symbian Anna smartphones that are bound to get the Belle update.
