During the Nokia Event held in London, today, Nokia have announced alongside two new smartphones from the company, the newly revamped Symbian OS called Symbian Anna or as what they call it previously as "PR2" (product release 2). The two new smartphone I am talking about sports this new upgraded version of Symbian are the Nokia E6 and the Nokia X7.
As you can see, the most interesting part of the new platform is the new stuff that comes with it. Aside from new logos and the like, the platform also comes with an improved text input, a faster browser, and the latest and newest version of Ovi Maps.
The new text input now comes with the much awaited portrait QWERTY input and a split screen when entering text into web pages and apps.
