AUS: [Update] Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 won't be sold in Australia until Apple lawsuit cools down

Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1 will halt it's launching in Australia until Australian court will give it the go ahead. Apple and Samsung, as we all know it, is in a global lawsuit with themselves with Apple taking the first step in accusing a slew of Samsung smartphones in the US infringing the "look and feel" of their own devices. Today, Samsung and Apple have agreed that the South Korean company will stop and withdraw advertisements, promotions, and sales of the best Android tablet to ever land on Earth. For now, Samsung has provided Apple 3 versions of their Galaxy Tab 10.1 saying that the Australian version of the tablet is not infringing Apple's patents. The Australian judge will review the case in August 29th and will decide if a trial is deemed necessary.

[Update]

If you read the post above, then its sad news for the Australians, right? But don't worry, Samsung has something up it's sleeves after Apple barred the sale of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the Australian market.

Samsung released a statement that you will be able to read over at Ausdroid.net which reads:
Apple Inc. filed a complaint with the Federal Court of Australia involving a Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1 variant that Samsung Electronics had no plans of selling in Australia. No injunction was issued by the court and the parties in the case reached a mutual agreement which stipulates that the variant in question will not be sold in Australia.
A Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1 for the Australian market will be released in the near future.
This undertaking does not affect any other Samsung smartphone or tablet available in the Australian market or other countries.
Samsung will continue to actively defend and protect our intellectual property to ensure our continued innovation and growth in the mobile communication business.
It makes sense right? Well, if so, then good news to the Aussies, it seems you are still getting the Galaxy Tab 10.1 on schedule, unless the Australian court decides to stop selling even the Australian version of the Galaxy Tab 10.1
