Google releases Google Maps 5.7 for Android brings in Transit Navigation (Beta)


Google released Google Maps 5.7 for Android which brings in Transit Navigation to your Google Maps. What that means is that GPS turn-by-turn or stop-by-stop navigation is now available for public transit. You know, when you ride the bus or any public transportation for that matter. Currently, the feature is available to 400+ cities around the world so if you want this feature to in your Google Maps download it from the Android Market now.

Also, along with this release, Google have updated some of the already available features on the app. The likes of an updated directions, improved search suggestions, and a photo viewer for place pages.
