Nokia, during the Nokia Connections 2011 event in Singapore, also announced a second phone. Calles the Nokia C2-03, apparently not a high-end handset like the N9, is a touch & type device that is also a dual-sim phone with Nokia's "Easy Swap" first seen on the Nokia C2-00.
What Nokia is trying to emphasize with its Easy Swap feature is the fact that you do not need to turn off your phones just to put a different SIM inside it. The first SIM holder is inside the phone and the 2nd SIM holder placed at the side of the phone for easy access.
The phone carries the slider type form factor a bit like a BlackBerry Torch but runs on S 40 and has the conventional alphanumeric kaypad and not the QWERTY type keyboard. The phone also features a 2MP rear facing camera, a battery that can keep the phone playing music for up to 35hrs, and weighs just 118g. It is also capable of browsing the internet and with a Facebook app. The phone comes with an internal storage capacity of just 10MB but supports up to 32GB of extra storage, probably via a microSD card slot (undisclosed).
The Nokia C2-03 will be available in Q3 for just €77 in the Indian, Chinese, Eurasian, and the Middle Asian markets.
