Samsung Galaxy WiFi 4 and 5 launching in Russia and Switzerland - other countries to follow


The Samsung Galaxy WiFi 4 and 5 are Android PMPs (Portable Music Player) touted to kill the iPod. These devices were formally announced during the Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona, Spain. also announced to be available in the US by Spring, the Galaxy WiFi 4 & 5 are currently available only in the South Korean market. But Samsung have already started to roll out the PMPs in the Russian and Swiss market. Other markets will be getting their share of the PMPs "soon".



Both the WiFi 4 & 5 runs on Android 2.2 Froyo which is said to be upgradeable to 2.3 Gingerbread. The difference between the two devices (4 & 5) aside from the noticeable design diff is that the number that goes along with the name of the device tells you the screen size of the PMP. As an added bonus the displays boasts the mDNle image engine. Both sports a 1GHz processor, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, VoIP, VGA front facing camera, and a 3.2MP rear facing camera. You can choose between an 8GB or 16GB internal storage and both supports microSD cards which will definitely give you 32GB extra storage.
