HTC makes the HTC Merge official! Coming to "multiple carrier" this spring

Before this time, a lot of leaked stuff and rumors were talked about this handset to the point that it was almost forgotten. The formerly known as the Lexikon and then turned into the HTC Merge is now official! The handset which will be coming into the shores of the United States of America will be offered by "multiple carriers" this Spring. 

HTC Merge specs:

• Android 2.2 Froyo
• 3.8" touch screen display
• 5MP rear camera
• Full HD video recording at 720p
• HTC Sense UI (HTC Sense Experience)
• GPS
• WiFi
• Physical sliding QWERTY keyboard

"HTC Merge is slated to be available from multiple North American operators beginning in spring 2011." - HTC

HTC did not disclose the handset's processor but I'm betting it's a 1GHz single-core CPU.
