Google brings Chrome Instant, WebGL, and Chrome Web App Store to Chrome 9

Google have added new things from their beta channel into their stable build of the popular Googe Chrome browser. The stable version of the Chrome browser is currently at version 9.0.597.84. The new features that they have added into this build are Chrome Instant, WebGL, and the Web App Store which will now be available to all US Chrome users.

First notable feature on the latest stable build of chrome, aside from bug fixes and security updates, is the inclusion of a technology they call WebGL. WebGL is the technology which is first used by Microsoft with IE 9 this is commonly referred to as Hardware Acceleration. Hardware acceleration makes browsing faster because instead of just the browser software doing all the page rendering, Hardware Acceleration will let your graphics processing unit (GPU) do some or all of the page rendering job. With Chrome's Web GL, this also allows users to have the capability of 3D technology right inside their browsers. You can try out the WebGL working over at ChromeExperiments.

Chrome Instant
That is Chrome Instant doing it's work. I'm running on Chrome 10 Beta though, so this is not something new to me. But Google have added this feature to their stable build giving Chrome users a faster way of browsing the internet. What Chrome Instant does is, like Google Instant, that it instantly loads frequently visited webpages when you are still typing the page's url.

Then we have the Chrome Web App Store. This feature is now available to all Chrome users in the US. Google have also incorporated this feature to the latest stable build of their browser. You can install hundreds, if not thousands, of web apps from the Web App Store. Check it out and try cools and colorful apps from the app store.

To install the latest Google Chrome Beta download now from the Google Chrome page. I really haven't tried to download and install the stable version of the browser but I think the stable version is now at version 9. Chrome 9.0.597.84 is what ChromeReleases also said is the latest stable build of the browser.
