Toshiba updated it's Satellit L Series laptops during CES 2011. The new thing, apparently, inside this laptop is a new Intel Core (Sandy Bridge) processor. Also Toshiba upgrades it's Qosmios X505 notebook with, apparently, some Sandy Bridge love. Head over the break to get to know what are the new things inside thes notebooks.
The Toshiba Satellit L Series which includes the L635 (13.3"), the L645 (14"), the L655 (15.6"), and the L675 (17.3") notebooks are all getting upgrades. You will be able to choose between a new Intel or a new AMD dual-core processor which includes the Intel Core i3 380M, Core i5 480M, and the second generation Intel Core i3 2310M and the Core i5 2410M on the L650 models. The AMD choice includes the AMD Athlon II, Turion II, and both the dual-core and the quad-core Phenom II CPUs. The L Series line of notebooks can all pack a 4 GB DDR3 RAM, and up to 640 GB HDD. The L Series will be available some time in the first half of 2011 with prices ranging from $469.99 - $849.99.
The Toshiba Qosmio X505 also gets some Sandy Bridge love with an Intel Core i7 2630M and an Intel Core i5 2410M CPUs. It is also packed with an nVidia GeForce GTX 460M GPU with a 1.5 GB DDR5 discrete memory graphics which can support nVidia's 3DTY Play which allows you to output 3D content or games over just the HDMI port.

- Bluray drive
The notebook will be available in the coming months starting from $1300 - $1900.
