Somewhere out there, a phone sits on a cradle and gets photoed. An Android handset by the manufacturer of the most popular Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S), Samsung. This will be the first time we will be seeing this device, apparently. And they say which I agreed on, is that this looks like a Samsung Galaxy S Mini.
Thanks to Samfirmware we have photos of the smartphone. The Samsung S5830 runs on Android 2.2 Froyo and has WiFi connectivity and Bluetooth 3.0 (Oh can they just turn to WiFi Direct?), MicroUSB port, a 5 MP rear facing camera with LED flash, and MicroSD card support. My source says that the smartphone will feature a HVGA (480 x 320) touch screen display.
Since this is yet to be announced, I am hoping that on MWC 2011 Samsung will be giving it an official name. So for the mean time I will be tagging this post under Samsung Galaxy S.
